Definitely not perfect, but I grew up loving Jesus and enamored with music from a very young age. I’ve made my share of mistakes over the years, and been through some rough patches, but God has always been there with His infinite Grace, Love, and Redemption.
Music has always been my outlet, a vehicle to express myself in ways that words could not. My dad taught me to play guitar in my early teens, and I’ve never stopped since, from joining him on the worship team at church, to high school bands, and eventually college and touring. From the beginning I felt called to reach people through music, and that calling has taken me on a wild ride. From studying classical guitar in community college, to modern music performance at Visible music college, to learning to build guitars at Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA, God has directed every step.
Oh yeah, aside from playing guitars, I also build and repair them at my shop in Nashville, and have been blessed to guest on industry panels and podcasts in that capacity. All the guitars I play and record with are hand built to the highest standards in my shop, alongside custom builds for some of the most discerning players out there.
